Some of my favourite activities in Jersey
Jersey is a great island to visit as a kid. There is loads to do and we didn’t have enough time to visit everything in the week we were there.
What were some of my favourite things?
- Swimming and watersports. The water was cold in the morning but warmed up after a while. My favourite bay was Beauport Beach where you had to climb down to get to it.
- We went on a boat trip on a RIB with Nauti Buoy Ribs. Steve, the Captain, took my Mum and I out to the Écréhous and we explored. I lost my hat as the boat was so fast!
- We had an ‘amazing’ day at the aMaizin’ Adventure Park. I went on everything and loved the tractor rides and the wet slides.
- I went twice to the Valley Adventure Park to do the aerial trekking which was awesome.
- We also visited the Durrell Wildlife Park and I loved all the monkeys. My Mum says I am a monkey myself.
We stayed out by the Corbiere lighthouse and hired a car for the week. It’s a great island for families to visit.
